MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT



I would like to thank everyone that has contributed to the 15 years of PSTC’s success. Also, I would like to express my gratitude to our employees, partners and mostly our athletes and their families that believed in our project, enabling us to build credibility and therefore achieving great results and victories. PSTC is currently the first in the Parana’s youth football ranking teams under 17’s and under 15’s and the leader in development and promoting of athletes.

We are constantly seeking to develop our firm by improving not only our business structure but also the social, educational and athletic grow of our players.

I welcome all the athletes, football clubs, and entrepreneurs to join and help us to make PSTC one of the best clubs for development of football’s players in the world.

THE HISTORY OF PSTC



PSTC was established in 1994 by a group of entrepreneurs, all professionals in various fields.  The initial idea of the group was the creation of a sports centre for the practice of football, with the aim of developing of professional athletes that would eventually play in renowned professional football clubs around the world. The firm would also give the opportunity to foreign athletes interested in training in Brazil.

 

 

The first successful athlete formed by PSTC was the defensive midfield Reginaldo Vital, who was negotiated in 1998 to the Japanese Club Gamba Osaka, within the partnership with Parana Club, Brazil. Before being negotiated to the Asian club, Reginaldo Vital won the 2nd place in the Parana State League (under 20’s) playing for PSTC in 1995. Then, he went to play for the professional team of Parana Club, where he won 3 Parana State League Championship and was elected the best Player of the Parana State League for 3 consecutive years (96/97/98).

PSTC was always considered one of the best 4 teams in the state of Parana, winning 3 Parana State League Championship (under 17’s) in 2000, 2001 and 2003. The outstanding players of the team in 2000 were: Alan Bahia (Atletico Paranaense’ defensive midfield), Jadson (Shakhtar / UCR’ midfield) e Dagoberto (Sao Paulo’ strikers), who was contemplated the best striker of the competition. In 2001, Dagoberto was considered one of the outstanding players of the Atletico Paranaense professional team, winning the Brazilian Premiership. His outstanding performance gave him the opportunity to play for the Brazilian national team (under 20’s) and Brazilian Olympic team.

In 2002 the outstanding player of the team was Fernandinho (Shakhtar / UCR’ midfield). The player, who was only 18 years old, scored the goal of the Brazilian national team (under 20’s) victory in the World’s Championship against Spain in 2003. Before he has already won the under 17’s World Championship with the Brazilian national team. The goalkeeper Guilherme (Lokomotiv Moscow / RUS) was also considered an outstanding player in the 2002’ team.

presidente.jpgThe outstanding players of 2003 were: Chico (Atlético Paranaense’ defensive midfield), Diogo (Fluminense’ defensive midfield) e Ricardinho (FC Tokyo / JP’ striker), all the players were signed by Atlético Paranaense Club due to the partnership between the Club and PSTC that was successfully established for a period of 10 years (1999-2009). Rafinha (Schalke 04 / ALE), another notable player, has played for PSTC from 1997 to 2001.

In 2008, PSTC won the Parana State League (under 17’s) for the 4th time. In the same year, the club has also won the Parana State League (under 15’s).

PSTC has already promoted over 100 professional athletes, negotiated to several international and national football clubs. The most famous player promoted by the club is the midfielder Kléberson (Flamengo). The international well-known player was 2 times Brazilian Premiership champion, in 2001 playing for Atlético Paranaense and recently, in 2009, playing for Flamengo. In 2002, Kléberson won the 5th World Cup Championship in Japan/South Korea for Brazil. In 2003, the athlete was the first Brazilian player to be negotiated to the famous English club, Manchester United/AIG.

THE CLUB



PSTC, Paraná Soccer Technical Center, is a club that recruits young players aged, 12 to 17, and prepare them to play for professional football clubs. The club delivers football coaching, skills training and personal development, providing young players with opportunities to change their lives. Through football, we encourage our athletes to develop as players and more importantly as people.

The process of athlete’s recruitment is supported by many partners spread all over the Brazilian territory. There are currently over 60 athletes, aged 14-17, living in the Training Centre of Londrina. The Londrina Centre offer all the structure necessary for the athletes well being, such as educational support, alimentation, transport, all the material necessary for the practice of football, medical, deontological and physiotherapy health care. All the personal support given to athlete aligned with the training structure makes PSTC one of the best clubs for development of athletes.

The high technical level of the athletes developed and promoted in the club and consequently the success of the business is a result of our differentiated method of work. PSTC has all the structure and experience to capture, observe and comply with the development of athletes.

 

Londrina Training Centre

At the Training Centre in Londrina, there are accommodation houses, canteen, 3 football fields, 1 technical field, gym, medical department, physiotherapy department, laundry facilities, dressing room and all the administrative office and support. The Centre currently accommodates 60 athletes, but it also counts with extra accommodations for 22 athletes in the testing phase.

Because of the high standard quality of athletes formed in the club, PSTC is a very well recognized institution in both national and international football scenario. However, to continue and improve our business in the formation of new talents, the club needs constant investment and new partners to sponsor the project. 

PSTC aims to invest in improvements of its Training Centres infrastructure, improvements on the development of players and quality of its professionals in order to become one of the best institutions for formation of athletes in the world.

 

CEEB

The CEEB (Educational and Sporting Complex of Brazil), known as Training Centre of Cambe, is located at Cambe City, near Londrina. The Centre, with 121.000 square meters, has 4 official Football Fields, dressing room, gymnasium and administrative office.

pstc3.jpgThe project foresees the construction of a high standard Training Centre, with capacity to attend over 150 athletes. The new Training Centre will accommodate over 100 athletes providing them with canteen, gym, medical and physiotherapy departments; entertainment area, library, dressing room, laundry facilities, sand courts, swimming pool and parking spaces.

pstc4.jpgIn the new Centre, foreign athletes for all over the world will be allowed to join us in an internship base, receiving special training, facilitating their adaptation in the country; differentiate treatment will contribute to the athletes’ learning. Thereby, PSTC aim to promote the formation of athletes from different nationalities.


PSTC is currently seeking for a partnership to conclude the CEEB Project. The new Training Centre is plan to become a world-class facility, recognized both national and international.
